Once we have received your order we will send an electronic invoice to your e-mail address as a confirmation of your purchase. It is important that you enter the correct e-mail address when placing your order. We recommend saving this email in order to facilitate any contact with customer service you may have in the future. The order confirmation (receipt) also serves as a guarantee of proof of purchase.
We use STRIPE and Paypal to process all payments, and BEATNIK does not store any credit card numbers. When paying by card, you can use Visa, AMEX or MasterCard securely over the Internet. Your payment is handled by STRIPE with secure encryption and under strict banking standards. Your card details are handled only by STRIPE and cannot be read or accessed by anyone other than your STRIPE. BEATNIK does not charge any extra costs for card payments. When paying by credit or debit card starting conditions apply as soon as the card transaction is approved. In the event that no payment has been received after submitting your order, BEATNIK may automatically cancel your order.
Beatnik sunglasses are shipped from either Hong Kong or a distribution center located closer to you. Please note that your order may or may not be subject to import duties and other taxes in your country of residence, which are collected when the shipment reaches your delivery address. You will be responsible for payment of such import duties and taxes. It should be noted that BEATNIK has no control over these charges and, since these charges are different for different countries, BEATNIK cannot predict their amount. BEATNIK advises you to contact your local customs office for further information.
Consumers have the right to return their order within 14 days from receiving the order. The right applies only in the case that the product and its original packaging can be returned in the same condition as when received. Make sure to attach your order number. Once your product is received, your money will be refunded or your new product will be sent out. If consumers wish to use their right to send back an order they should contact Beatnik in order to get an address to send the goods to. Return shipping is paid by the consumer. In case you return your product in order to receive a refund, and you do not pay the custom fees in advance. BEATNIK reserve the right to deduct any potential custom fees from the sum, before completing the refund. If an item is damaged during transport, BEATNIK should be contacted within 14 days for information about compensation.
BEATNIK ships worldwide except Hong Kong. Deliveries are made from either Hong Kong or a regional distribution center, in cooperation with postal services. As the postal services in use may vary, please contact BEATNIK with your order number in order to obtain further details.
Warranty term: 1 year from the date of purchase. This warranty covers manufacturing defects on the Sunglasses. To have replacement covered under this warranty performed, please contact us through the "contact us" page. In the e-mail you need to specify your name, address, order number and a detailed description of the issue. Finally, write ‘reclaim of purchase’ as subject of the e-mail or letter.
Note that repair/replacements will be charged in the following cases, even during the warranty term:
- Failure or damage caused by improper use or carelessness (knocks, dents, crushing, broken lenses, etc.)
BEATNIK retains the right to amend product information such as product pictures and offers without notice. The product images and information texts available reflect the product as much as possible. We reserve the right for any errors that may appear on the page and cannot guarantee that all pictures accurately reflect the true appearance of the sunglasses. The pictures may differ depending on the color settings in your computer. All pictures should be seen as illustrations only, and do not guarantee correct appearance and characteristics. BEATNIK also retains the right to change prices, correct incorrect prices on all orders as well as final sales. If a price is incorrect, this may compel BEATNIK to cancel the purchase and refund any amount paid in the best way. This can be performed at any time.
BEATNIK´s responsibility for errors in connection to delivery is limited to existing conditions of sale. BEATNIK bears no direct or indirect responsibility for factors including, but not limited to, incompatibility, delivery delays, downtime, data loss, additional work or other economic harm.
BEATNIK shall be exempt from liability for damages and other penalties on the performance of the contract prevented, hindered or delayed by circumstances beyond our control. Release factors to be considered include, but are not limited to, government intervention, new / amended legislation, lack of state, war, fire, flood, labor disturbance, prohibitions, restrictions, sabotage, poor transport or weather conditions or lack of delivery from suppliers and that the company is exposed to criminal activity that affects activities.
Intellectual Property Rights
All intellectual property rights, such as trademarks and copyright, on the website and in the material published on it are owned by BEATNIK. Any use of the site or its content, including copying or storing such content in whole or part, other than for your own personal, non-commercial use, is prohibited without the permission of BEATNIK. The website may include user generated content from for example social media applications. BEATNIK does not claim any ownership in rights in such content (images, photos and videos etc.) and take no legal responsibility for it.
